Comments Regarding my Magnetostatics Design and Analysis Work:

Magnetostatics is a another broad area of electromagnetic physics.  It encompasses many electronic devices operating at low frequency and utilizing permanent and electro-magnets.  Over time, I have designed, built and analyzed many magnetic devices and systems.

Recent consultant work involved finite element analysis ( FEA using flexPDE ) of a "cup and magnet" magnetron having a sputtering target with exotic metallurgical aspects.

I am able to model scenarios involving permanent magnets, induced eddy currents, moving field sources and conductors, with or without anisotropic material characteristics.  These models may be of the multiphysics type wherein the magnetic fields interact with other fields of physics such as stress, strain and heat.
