Comments Regarding my Mechanical Design and Analysis Work:

I have always had a knack for mechanical design but it is only in the last 20 years that this ability was been fully developed.  As of this time, I have done well over a hundred mechanical designs for various  applications. All of the resultant designs performed as intended. Many of these mechanical designs relate to ultrasonic, fluidic, electro-optical and electromechanical devices.  Some were simple and some were not so simple.  A few were way-not so simple.

In the course of this work, I have become proficient with SolidWorks and Fusion360, industry standard CAD programs that I now routinely use for all but the simplest design tasks.

I have also installed and routinely use a modest machine shop.  Experience actually making parts that I have designed, has been a valuable mechanical part design learning method. "Hands on" shop experience has helped me understand mechanical design and part fabrication from the machine shop point-of-view.  The net result has been parts that work better and are less expensive. Good relations with machine shops and generally faster turnaround are other commonly resultant benefits.
